4/21/18 - 89th Blue/Gold game draws 33,000 to ND Stadium

On a warm day in South Bend, the Fighting Irish invited more than 30,000 fans to enjoy the 89th annual Blue/Gold game. Spectators were able to experience many elements of a normal game day at Notre Dame, including a large contingent of the Notre Dame Band playing from the stands.

In addition to the game, the band welcomed 130 members of the Lake Fenton High School Band to campus for a clinic, tour, and concert. The 2018 version of The Shirt was unveiled on Friday evening, with proceeds going to a number of local charitable causes. The Symphonic Band, Symphonic Winds, and Percussion Ensembles also performed over the course of the weekend, capping one of the busiest stretches of the year!
