3/10/19 - Notre Dame Women's Basketball clinches 5th ACC Tournament Title

The 2019 ACC Women's Basketball Tournament was held once again in Greensboro, North Carolina. Band Members traveled with the team for their 3-day stretch of games, with contests against the UNC Tar Heels, Syracuse Orange, and Louisville Cardinals. The Irish won the title game against UL 99-79, beating the then-third ranked team in the country. Following the blowout victory, Head Coach Muffet McGraw invited band members onto the court and allowed each to cut down a piece of the championship net. 

Earlier in the week, members of the band and cheerleading squads visited St. Pius X Catholic School. Children from across the campus were invited to a pep rally, participating in cheers and learning more about Notre Dame game-day traditions. That Saturday, the band and cheerleaders returned to St. Pius X church for Mass were recognized by Monsignor Maraccio.
