1/17/19 - Jazz bands prepare to host 61st annual Collegiate Jazz Festival

Since its inception in 1959, the Collegiate Jazz Festival has served as the nation's longest festival of its type. The first festival, conceived by then-director of jazz Fr. George Wiskirchen, C.S.C., has become a staple for college jazz musicians across the country. This year's festival will feature talented jazz musicians from across the midwest and country, an and will feature internationally acclaimed trombonist Steve Turre (well known for his tenure on Saturday Night Live).
