9/22/17 - Band honors Coach Muffet McGraw

On the evening of Friday, September 22, 2017, hundreds gathered in Heritage Hall at the Joyce Center on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Fans, players, and other members of the university community were present to celebrate the induction of Karen and Kevin Keyes Head Women's Basketball Coach Muffet McGraw to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Coach McGraw is the first inductee from the Notre Dame Women's Basketball program. 

As the ceremony was closing, more than 100 band members marched in to the hall playing the Notre Dame Victory March. After the initial performance, Coach McGraw remarked that she "had not intended to cry" that evening, but the band's support had moved her to tears. Congratulations, Coach McGraw!
